I once got lost in a thought, “What would I have been doing if I did not join an IIM?”
Many of us look forward to joining an IIM and might have multiple reasons in mind. I am one of them who fumbled upon various reasons but never really realized why am I here.
IPM is a program for young aspiring managers, and we joined the program straight out of school with a dream in our hearts.
The very thought of being at a premier institute like IIM, and being taught by the best of faculty members, was overwhelming. An enthusiastic and talented peer group from diverse parts of the country in the classroom added to the fun and fear.
Icarus’ flight is a popular Greek myth. The story tells of a young man who attempts to fly too close to the sun with wings made of wax and feathers. The heat of the sun causes the wax to melt, and Icarus falls into the sea and drowns. The story warns of unrestrained ambition. But surely our ambition is not of flight, and wings of wax.

IIM Bodh Gaya’s Envision Cell recently hosted its annual signature event, the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, in collaboration with Start-Up Bihar and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The purpose of the two-day summit was to encourage youth entrepreneurship and provide a venue for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their business concepts.

Saraswati Puja is a celebration of knowledge and wisdom. The divine goddess symbolizes universal intelligence, consciousness, and knowledge. It is a significant event for IIM Bodh Gaya, as it aligns with the institute’s core values of lifelong learning and mindfulness. This excitement around the event was highlighted by the Cultural Committee’s effort to put the event together. Weeks of tremendous hard work was poured into every single aspect of the event.
The 74 th Republic Day celebration at IIM Bodh Gaya was an event to remember. As the sun rose over the picturesque campus, the anticipation among the students, faculty, and staff was palpable. The flag hoisting ceremony on January 26, 2023 was a grand display of patriotism and national pride.
