Clash Of Clans: Unveiling the Ultimate Sporting Odyssey at IIM Bodh Gaya!

With the Clash of Clans on November 20, 2023, IIM Bodh Gaya is set to make its mark on the sporting calendar, and the excitement is building to a fever pitch! The Sports Committee is set to host this innovative event; an adventure that seeks to unite the diverse community of 1200 students on campus through the universal language of sports. At the helm of this grand sporting spectacle is none other than the Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, Dr. Vinita Sahay, a visionary leader who envisions cultivating a vibrant sporting culture within the campus. Leading the charge is the indefatigable Dr. Amresh Kumar, the Sports Committee Chairperson at the institute.

The Clash of Clans promises to be an exhilarating showdown across seven diverse sporting disciplines: cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, chess, and table tennis. The heart and soul of the event will lie in the rivalries and camaraderie forged between students who have been divided into six mighty clans, each with a unique name and character: the Moksha Mavericks, the Samartha Samurais, the Vajra Warriors, the Yuga Yodhas, the Arya Avengers, and the Nirvana Knights. Each clan is headed by the Panch: a group of 5 leaders who have been selected through popular voting and will guide their respective clans. These five leaders are from the various postgraduate and undergraduate programmes (MBA 08, MBA 09, DBM, HHM and IPM).

As the calendar inches closer to November 20, 2023, the anticipation around the inauguration of the Clash of Clans is reaching a crescendo. On this date, the campus of IIM Bodh Gaya will transform into a colossal arena of athleticism, camaraderie, and fierce rivalry.
