The Day I Left She Cried

The Day I Left She Cried

The day I left, she cried,

Seeing her cry, a part of me died,

Tears on my face I tried to hide.

I didn’t know if that meeting was our last,

Since I was moving fast,

My head felt like a blast.

Though my old feathers were about to have a chop,

I knew the storm in me would not stop,

I knew for a few days, only tears would drop.

Hogwarts was the destiny,

My eyes were out for scrutiny,

My mind was messed in mutiny.

A new chapter was about to start,

Bull’s eye had all my dart,

But I had, for sure, lost my heart.

I do wish for the childhood days,

Memories linger like the clays,

But suddenly, a slap brought back my gaze.

My heart in Hogwarts started to mend,

Happiness I borrowed, I began to lend,

All the colors on the palette started to blend.

Now Hogwarts is my happy place,

I never hoped it would be the case,

Finally, I have gained new friends and a face.
