Two Years at IIM BG: A Journey to Remember

As I reflect on my two years at IIM BG, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the experiences, friendships, and lessons that shaped me. From the very first day when we stepped into orientation, filled with excitement and anticipation, to now, as I bid farewell, every moment has been enriching.

One of the most memorable milestones was securing my summer internship at ICICI Bank, the first company to visit our campus. This provided a confidence boost that set the tone for my academic and professional journey. The classroom experience was equally transformative, offering a vast curriculum that consistently challenged my limits. Engaging in thought-provoking discussions with professors and peers, my time in Bodhgaya broadened my perspective, not just in business but in life. Our professors, with their wealth of experience, had a unique way of bridging theory with real-world applications, making every lecture insightful. Their lessons extended beyond textbooks, teaching us critical thinking, adaptability, and decision-making skills that will be invaluable not only in the corporate world but in life itself.

Beyond academics, being a part of the Sports Committee was a defining chapter of my MBA life. Organizing tournaments, participating in competitions, and winning laurels for the college brought immense pride. However, one of my most cherished contributions was forming the first-ever women’s basketball team. To my surprise, no women’s sports teams existed when I joined. I vividly remember my conversation with our Director, where she expressed her vision for the sports culture to flourish, grow, and thrive across the campus. Today, as I reflect, I am proud that we not only laid the foundation but also inspired a lasting sports culture at IIM BG.

These two years have been nothing short of extraordinary. The friendships, the challenges, the victories—all of them have left an indelible mark. As I step into the next phase of my journey, I carry with me the confidence, resilience, and invaluable lessons that IIM BG has gifted me. The best is yet to come!
