IIM Bodh Gaya Rings with Patriotism: Celebrates Republic Day with Flag Hoisting and More

Pt. Nehru had said, “We have to labour and work, and work hard, to give reality to our dreams” in his well-known speech on the eve of India’s independence. India’s constitution has been a vanguard for a billion dreams and the anniversary of its adoption, Republic Day, is a nationwide celebration of these dreams and our national heroes.

The crisp January air vibrated with patriotic fervor on the morning of January 26 as the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya, celebrated Republic Day. The day dawned with a vibrant flag hoisting ceremony, led by the Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, Dr. Vinita S. Sahay. The tricolor flag waved in the clear sky, symbolizing the spirit of the nation. The national anthem played, and the students, faculty, and staff sang it with enthusiasm, creating a sense of togetherness and pride.

The day’s festivities continued with a visit by the Chief of the Officer’s Training Academy (OTA). The visit was followed by the inauguration of the thrilling sports competition Sangram 1.0, where students from various colleges and institutes battled it out in friendly matches, showcasing their athleticism and sportsmanship. The fun and friendly games made everyone feel even closer and more like a team, adding to the happy and united atmosphere of the celebration.
