Embracing the Legacy of India’s Republic- College Celebrates Republic Day
The 74th Republic Day celebration at IIM Bodh Gaya was an event to remember. As the sun rose over the picturesque campus, the anticipation among the students, faculty, and staff was palpable. The flag hoisting ceremony on January 26, 2023 was a grand display of patriotism and national pride.
The ceremony began with the Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, Dr. Vinita Sahay, stepping forward to hoist the national flag. The tricolor unfurled in all its glory, symbolizing unity and hope for the nation with the ex-military members of the staff and administration saluting it. The national anthem was sung as the final notes faded into the morning air, sending a wave of patriotism down the spine of all those in attendance.
The Director’s address was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for the nation and the importance of being responsible citizens. She also highlighted the achievements of the institute and the contributions of its students and faculty to the community.
